the Outer Banks. Wilmington is a historic city with waterfront and over

Lowe’s Motor Speedway is the home of NASCAR. The track is also
used by Buck Baker Racing School, where enthusiasts learn skills of
driving racecars. Love Valley is an isolated mountain community whose
members include modern-day cowboys. The Penland School of Crafts is
an institution founded on love of materials – clay, stone, wood,
metal, fibers & textiles. Meet Arval Woodey who has been turning
out wooden chairs for decades, all made without nails or glue, held
by tight fitting joints of his masterful woodwork. Today’s Mast
General Store operates on the same principles that kept it in business
for almost one hundred years. Young’s Mountain Music draws a crowd
and has sent many a would-be entertainer to Nashville.
